Agreement on procedure for guests with symptoms of Coronavirus

From 28 February 2022 the Government announced that it will no longer be a legal requirement for us to follow any Domestic restrictions related to corona virus, such as mask wearing, and operating track and trace. From 1 April you are no longer legally required to self isolate if you have coronavirus. However, the government advise remains the same: to stay home and avoid contact with other people.

We still ask that our guests continue to tell us if they are ill with coronavirus like symptoms, so we can continue to reduce the risks of transmissions to ourselves and other guests, and protect others from illness.

Before your stay please check all the latest government public heath measures for any National or local restrictions that may have come into place since we reviewed this policy.

International travellers should be aware that there may be specific laws in place for them such as the possibility of requiring tests, Test to Release, quarantine or even travel bans that they may need to comply with. If you are not in a travel corridor with the UK you should contact us before booking. We are NOT a quarantine hotel facility.

What we are asking you to do if you have symptoms.

Guests showing symptoms of Covid-19 whilst staying at The Gallery Lodges are asked to inform Julie or Pete Caswell as soon as possible, so we can prepare for extra cleaning measures on your departure. (Don’t worry, we won’t charge you extra cleaning fees for this, we just need to know for everyone’s best interest*).

You should arrange to have a test. Ideally bring the LFT with you.

Please consider how you can reduce exposure of the illness to other people, including your host, other holiday makers and the wider community.

Coronavirus is still causing people to become very unwell and we would advise you to consider returning home early to convalesce.

*In the unlikely event you are too ill to return home, and you remain in The Gallery Lodges after your departure time or day, than all fees for all bookings affected by this will be borne by you, the guest, and payable in advance. There will also be an additional cleaning fee. You may not stay after your departure date without prior consent from us.

For our part we will still be doing a great job with cleaning the lodges including: continuing the good practice of airing the lodges well, sanitising frequently touched areas and making sure the crockery and cutlery is really clean for your arrival.
